About

Built by a marketer who stopped trusting dashboards.

The story

My name is Nathanael. I spent years as a growth marketer, which mostly means I spent years in rooms making decisions on dashboard numbers. Spend more here. Cut that. This campaign is working, that one isn't.

Then I started checking the numbers themselves. Some of them nobody could confirm. A tag breaks in March, and by June a whole budget has quietly bent around traffic that never happened.

“People often trust numbers without asking where they came from and how we know the source is reliable.”

That's the thing I couldn't unsee. The problem was never the people reading the dashboards. It was that nobody was watching the layer underneath: the root events, the actual moments a customer did the thing your business wanted them to do.

So I built Feder to watch the roots instead. If a number can't be traced back to a root event and confirmed there, Feder won't present it as fact. It will say the line is broken, or that it's still learning. That honesty is the whole product.

The moment

Four months, one broken tag.

  1. March

A tag stops firing on one page.

  2. April

The dashboard keeps drawing. Visits look up.

  3. May

Budget moves toward the 'winning' campaign.

  4. June

Someone checks. The visits never happened.

And because the watch never really sleeps, there's Perch, keeping the night watch over your roots.

Start with your own roots.
